The Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has invited applications for the Practical Aptitude Test conducted for admission to the B.Sc. (Honours) in Sport Sciences & Management and B.Sc. (Honours) in Physical Education degree programmes based on the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2025 results.
- B.Sc. (Honours) in Sport Sciences & Management
- B.Sc. (Honours) in Physical Education
Students who wish to apply for these degree programmes must have obtained at least ‘S’ passes in any three subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination. Applicants are advised to refer to the University Admissions Handbook 2025/2026 for detailed eligibility requirements.

Aptitude Test Structure
The aptitude test consists of two sections:
Practical Test – 60% Marks
The practical evaluation includes the following fitness and performance tests:
- 35m Sprint
- 5 × 10m Shuttle Run
- 1000m Aerobic Run
- Standing Broad Jump
- Push-ups
- Sit and Reach Test
The university states that the push-up test format will be the same for both male and female candidates.
All candidates must produce a valid medical certificate issued by a licensed medical practitioner before participating in the practical test.
Sports Achievements Evaluation – 40% Marks
The remaining marks will be awarded based on candidates’ achievements in sports at:
- International Level
- National Level
- Provincial Level
- School Level
