The University Grants Commission (UGC) has officially announced a correction to the Sinhala medium version of the University Admissions Handbook for the academic year 2024/2025. According to the UGC, pages 171 and 173 of the previously released handbook have been amended to rectify errors identified after publication.
The revised pages have now been made publicly available through the UGC website and are expected to replace the earlier versions. Students, parents, and career guidance counselors are advised to refer only to the corrected version when seeking information about university admissions and program details.
The UGC has emphasized the importance of using the updated content to avoid any misinterpretation or incorrect application details.
