The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura has announced the call for applications for its Master of Sociology One-Year Programme, 8th Intake 2025. The programme, conducted by the Department of Sociology, aims to provide advanced academic training in the field of sociology.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates until March 16, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Special Honours Degree in Sociology from a recognized university.
- A General Degree with Sociology as a subject from a recognized university.
- Any degree from a recognized university with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience or research qualifications.
Programme Details:
- Lectures will be held on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the university premises.
- Successful completion of the programme will qualify students to pursue MPhil/PhD studies in Sociology.
Course Fees:
- The total course fee is LKR 160,000.00, which includes registration, library, examination, and refundable library fees.
- Payment can be made in two equal installments.
