Zahira College, Colombo, a premier educational institution for boys, has announced admissions for the G.C.E. Advanced Level (2025–2027) intake. The school invites applications from students who have excelled in the 2024 G.C.E. (O/L) examination, regardless of language, religion, or ethnicity. Students may select from Science, Commerce, Arts, Technology, or Vocational streams in English, Sinhala, or Tamil mediums.

Interviews will be held at Ghaffoor Hall according to the following schedule:
Internal Students (Zahirians)

- 30th July 2025 – Commerce
- 31st July 2025 – Arts & Vocational
Time: 08:30 AM to 01:00 PM
External Students (Non-Zahirians)
- 5th August 2025 – Science & Technology
- 6th August 2025 – Commerce
- 7th August 2025 – Arts & Vocational
Time: 08:30 AM to 01:00 PM
Students must attend in school uniform with a proper haircut, accompanied by their parents, and bring the following documents:
- Duly filled admission application (available on the interview day)
- Birth Certificate (original & copy)
- NIC of the student (original & copy)
- NIC copies of parents
- Certified O/L Result Sheet (original & copy)
- Sports/CCA Certificates (original & copies)
Full Scholarship Opportunity for Science Stream
Zahira College offers full scholarships (admission fees only) for students entering the Biological or Physical Science streams:
- External students with more than seven “A”s, including “A” for Mathematics and Science.
- Internal students with more than six “A”s, including “A” for Mathematics and Science.
