University of Jaffna Calls Applications for Public Officers to Enroll in B.Sc. Honours in Agriculture

The University of Jaffna’s Faculty of Agriculture has announced admissions for public officers to follow the B.Sc. Honours in Agriculture degree as internal students for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. A/L Examination in the Biological Science stream and qualified for university entry, or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Faculty Board and Senate, along with a Diploma in Agriculture (minimum two years) from a recognized institution. Candidates should also have at least five years of experience in a middle-level technical officer role in agriculture after obtaining the diploma.

Eligible applicants must be under 45 years of age as of the application closing date. Application forms are available at www.jfn.ac.lk and www.agri.jfn.ac.lk, and must be submitted through the respective Heads of Department to the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Kilinochchi.

The deadline for applications is 25 August 2024. Candidates will be selected through a written test and oral examination.
