1. Executive Management Posts

Manager (Programme Services) [HM 1-1] — 01 Position: Requires a UGC-recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Film & TV Production, or a related field, alongside a recognized Master’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of managerial experience in TV programme production. Age limit is 35 to 55 years (upper limit waived for internal candidates). Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 140,640 – 15 x 4,100 – 202,140.
Assistant Manager Positions [MM 1-1]: Available roles include Assistant Manager (NLE & Graphic), Assistant Manager (News) – ITN, Assistant Manager (News) – Lakhanda, Assistant Manager (Programme) – Vasantham TV, Assistant Manager (Presentation), Assistant Manager (Technical Services), and Assistant Manager (Set & Make up). Requires a UGC-recognized Bachelor’s Degree or NVQ Level 7 qualification in relevant disciplines with at least 1 year of post-qualifying experience. Age limit is 22 to 45 years. Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 91,690 – 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,450 – 168,240.

2. Technical & Production Staff [JM 1-1]

Available Roles: Senior Video Editor (Programme), Senior Graphic Animator (Programme), Senior Video Editor & Graphic (News), Senior Presentation Officer (ITN / VTV), Senior Set Designer, Senior Make Up Artist, Senior Producer News / Current Affairs / VTV / VFM, and Senior Camera Journalist.
Qualifications & Age Limit: Requires a UGC-recognized Degree or NVQ Level 5/6/7 certifications with relevant work experience. Practical and trade tests are required for video editing, graphics, and set design roles. Age limit is 22 to 45 years.
Salary Scale: Rs. 72,650 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 – 122,970.

3. Non-Executive & Operational Roles

Producer (Trailer) [MA-4]: Requires a Degree or NVQ Level 5–7 qualification with a practical test. Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 64,320 – 113,170.
Programme Controller, Presentation Officer, Library Assistant, Production Officer Technical (Sound & Light) [MA-2-2]: Requires a minimum NVQ Level 5 qualification in relevant fields. Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 50,540 – 90,270.
Assistant Producer (ITN / Vasantham TV / News & Current Affairs) [MA-1-2]: Requires G.C.E. (O/L) with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics, plus passes in 3 subjects at G.C.E. (A/L). Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 46,220 – 84,350.
Set Assistant [PL-2]: Requires a minimum NVQ Level 2 certification. Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 42,300 – 66,060.

All recruitments and promotions up to January 01, 2027, will strictly follow Schedule II of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025. Selected employees will receive the following perks:
