The Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies (PGIPBS) of the University of Kelaniya has called for applications for its Postgraduate Programmes for the Academic Year 2026/2027. The institute, recognized as Sri Lanka’s premier postgraduate institution dedicated to Pali and Buddhist Studies, offers a range of academic pathways from Certificate Level to Master’s Degrees and Research Programmes.
Applications are open until 15 July 2026, and classes are scheduled to commence in September 2026. Both online and on-site lectures will be conducted in Sinhala and English mediums, providing flexibility for working professionals, clergy, researchers, and students. Final examinations may be held either on-site or online, depending on programme requirements.
