The University of the Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA) has officially called for applications for the Aptitude Test for University Admission – Academic Year 2025/2026, based on the G.C.E. Advanced Level 2025 results.
🎓 Degree Programmes Offered
Applicants can apply for the following honours degree programmes:
- Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours
- Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music / Dance and Drama) Honours
📅 Application Period
Applications will be accepted from 26 April 2026 to 11 May 2026. Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum entry requirements specified in the UGC Admissions Handbook for 2025/2026.
✅ Minimum Entry Requirements
Candidates must have:
- At least two (2) Simple Passes (S) in any two subjects, and
- At least one Credit Pass (C) in the relevant subject (Music, Dance, Drama & Theatre, Art & Sculpture) at the G.C.E. A/L Examination
Note: Candidates awaiting re-scrutiny results or whose results are withheld are also eligible to apply.
⚠️ Important Notice
All applicants must apply separately through the University Grants Commission (UGC) for university admission in addition to submitting the aptitude test application.

💰 Application Fee
- Rs. 2,000 per course
- Payment must be made to the University’s designated bank account at the Bank of Ceylon (Independent Square Branch)
- Applicants must include their Full Name and NIC number when making the payment
Note: Cash Deposit Machines (CDM) are not accepted.

Applicants should retain the following:
- Bank payment receipt
- National Identity Card
- Passport-size photograph (blue background)
- G.C.E. A/L 2025 result sheet
