The University of Vavuniya is calling for applications from suitably qualified individuals for the positions of Assistant Internal Auditor (On Contract) and Visiting Dentist. Applications will be accepted until February 24, 2025.

Assistant Internal Auditor (On Contract)
Qualifications: Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Pass in the Final II Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or an equivalent qualification.
- A Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting from a recognized university or higher educational institute.
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a pass in the Intermediate Level Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
- A Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) from SLIATE or its predecessor.
Additionally, candidates must have at least two years of experience in accounting or auditing within a government institution, state corporation, or reputed private sector organization.
Salary: Rs. 96,200 per month (Fixed)
Recruitment Method: Selection through an interview.
Visiting Dentist
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a practicing dentist.
Allowance: Rs. 1,500 per hour, with additional travel allowances as per university regulations.
Appointment Basis: The dentist will be required to work two hours per week during working hours, with the possibility of an increase based on demand.
