කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ පශ්චාද් උපාධි අධ්‍යයන පීඨය (FGS) මඟින් පවත්වනු ලබන ජපන් අධ්‍යයන ශාස්ත්‍රපති (Master of Japanese Studies – MJS) 2026/2027 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත. මෙම පාඨමාලාව සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම සති අන්තයේ මාර්ගගත ක්‍රමවේදය (Online Mode) ඔස්සේ ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍යයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන අතර, එය ශ්‍රී ලංකා සුදුසුකම් රාමුවේ 09 වන මට්ටමට (SLQF Level 9 – Credits 30) අයත් වේ.

கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் பட்டமேற்படிப்பு பீடத்தினால் (FGS) நடாத்தப்படும் ஜப்பான் கற்கைகள் முதுமாணி (Master of Japanese Studies – MJS) கற்கைநெறிக்கான 2026/2027 கல்வியாண்டுக்கான விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளன. இக்கற்கைநெறி முழுமையாக வார இறுதி நாட்களில் இணையவழியில் (Online Mode) ஆங்கில மொழியில் நடாத்தப்படும் என்பதுடன், இது SLQF மட்டம் 09 (30 Credits) இற்கு உரித்தானது.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
Prospective applicants must satisfy at least one of the academic tracks specified below, alongside language and selection requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies obtained from a recognized university or higher education institution; OR
- Any other Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, coupled with prior learning or verifiable work experience in Japanese Studies; OR
- A Postgraduate Diploma (SLQF Level 8) from a recognized university or institution, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Faculty Board of the FGS and the Senate of the University of Colombo, accompanied by prior learning or work experience in Japanese Studies; OR
- A professional qualification from a recognized professional body acceptable to the Faculty Board of the FGS and the Senate of the University of Colombo, with relevant prior learning or work experience in Japanese Studies; OR
- Completion of NVQ Level 7 (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in SLQF) together with relevant work experience in Japanese Studies as determined by the Faculty Board of the FGS and the Senate of the University of Colombo; AND
- Competent proficiency in the English language and satisfactory performance at the selection test or selection interview conducted by the Faculty.

- Pay Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable fee of LKR 3,000 (Local candidates) or USD 40 (Foreign candidates) using code 318030700006 as the reference number at any People’s Bank branch, or online via the University of Colombo payment portal at
pay.cmb.ac.lk. - Compile Digital Documents: Prepare certified copies of your National Identity Card (NIC), birth certificate, educational degree certificates, professional qualifications, and relevant service/work experience letters.
- Online Application Submission: Access the FGS registration portal at
https://sims.cmb.ac.lk/fgs/registration. Fill in the requested details and upload the bank payment slip alongside all certified certificates merged into a single PDF document. - Hard Copy Dispatch: Send the duly completed printed application form and certified paper photocopies of all attached documents along with the original bank payment slip via registered post to:
