Academic Vacancies – University of Kelaniya

The University of Kelaniya is inviting applications for the positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer (on contract for six months) in the Department of Western Classical Culture & Christian Culture.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must possess a degree specializing in Western Classical Culture, Christian Culture, or Theology (Biblical Studies) with at least Second Class Honours. Candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the relevant field are also encouraged to apply.

For the Senior Lecturer Grade II position, applicants must meet the qualifications for a Lecturer and have either a Doctoral degree or a Master’s degree with a research component, along with at least six years of experience in teaching, research, or postgraduate studies.

Salary Structure

• Senior Lecturer (on contract): Rs. 272,998.40 per month
• Lecturer (on contract): Rs. 221,960.20 per month
