The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced the commencement of applications for its Diploma in Food Science programme for the academic year 2025/2026. This one-year diploma, conducted in English, is designed for individuals seeking to advance their knowledge and skills in the field of food science and technology.
Admission Requirements
Prospective students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Three passes at the G.C.E. (A/L) in the Bio Science stream with Chemistry, or Biosystems Technology.
- Three passes, including Chemistry and Biology, from an Advanced Certificate in Science or equivalent programme offered by OUSL.
- An NVQ level 4 qualification in Food Science or Food Technology.
- An equivalent or higher qualification approved by the OUSL Senate.
