The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has called for Application for Cadet officer 2026 from eligible educational professionals to be appointed as Commissioned Officers.
Key Requirements:
- Sri Lankan citizen
- Permanent appointment holder in a government or semi-government educational service
- Below 35 years of age as of 31 December 2025
- Medically fit
- Minimum height: 160 cm (male) and 150 cm (female)
Benefits:
- Opportunity to serve as a Platoon Officer
- 60 days of basic military training
- Role in guiding and training school cadets while continuing as an educator
