The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has officially published the candidate selection pool and list of available vacancies for Grade I appointments in the Sri Lanka Accountants’ Service (SLACS) for the year 2026.
According to official letter No: PSC/PRO/07/2323/2026 issued by the Public Service Commission (PSC), a total of 85 officers were selected for the pool following structured interviews conducted under PSC Circular No. 04/2023.

ශ්රී ලංකා ගණකාධිකාරී සේවයේ (SLACS) I ශ්රේණියේ තනතුරු සඳහා තේරී පත් වූ නිලධාරීන්ගේ නාමලේඛනය සහ පවතින පුරප්පාඩු ලැයිස්තුව රාජ්ය පරිපාලන, පළාත් සභා හා පළාත් පාලන අමාත්යාංශය මගින් ප්රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත. රාජ්ය සේවා කොමිෂන් සභාවේ PSC/PRO/07/2323/2026 දරන ලිපියට අනුව නිලධාරීන් 85 දෙනෙකු මෙම නිලධාරී මණ්ඩලය (Pool of Officers) සඳහා තෝරාගෙන තිබේ. තේරී පත් වූ සියලුම නිලධාරීන් 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 17 වන දින ප.ව. 4:00 ට පෙර තම මනාපයන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.

இலங்கை கணக்காளர் சேவையின் (SLACS) தரம் I பதவிகளுக்காக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகளின் பெயர் பட்டியல் மற்றும் வெற்றிடங்கள் தொடர்பான விபரங்களை அரச நிர்வாக, மாகாண சபைகள் மற்றும் உள்ளூராட்சி அமைச்சு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அரச சேவை ஆணைக்குழுவின் PSC/PRO/07/2323/2026 எண் கொண்ட அறிவித்தலின் படி 85 அதிகாரிகள் தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர். தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகள் அனைவரும் 2026 அக்டோபர் 17 ஆம் திகதி மாலை 4:00 மணிக்கு முன்னர் தமது விருப்பத் தேர்வுகளை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.
Vacancy Breakdown for 2026
A total of 71 vacant Grade I posts have been designated across state institutions, ministries, and departments:
- Immediate & Departmental Vacancies (63 Posts): Includes critical roles such as Chief Accountant and Chief Internal Auditor in key institutions including the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Finance, Department of Pensions, Attorney General’s Department, and island-wide High Courts.
- Upcoming Special Grade Promotion Vacancies (8 Posts): Expected to become vacant following promotions to the Special Grade effective from July 01, 2026, pending final PSC approval.
Instructions for Selected Officers & How to Apply
All 85 selected officers in the merit pool must submit their order of preference for all available vacancies using the official Annexure 03 format according to the following process:
- Complete the prescribed Annexure 03 preference form accurately listing options in order of priority.
- Email a clear scanned copy of the completed form to [email protected].
- Deliver the original document by hand or mail to:
Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Independence Square, Colombo 07. - Ensure both digital and physical submissions are received before 4:00 PM on October 17, 2026.
