Master of Education (MEd) 2025/26 – University of Jaffna

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, has invited applications for the Master of Education (MEd) 2025/26 – Batch XVI, to be conducted at the Jaffna Centre. This is a self-financing postgraduate programme aimed at educators and professionals engaged in educational work.

The programme is open to candidates with teaching experience in schools or recognized educational institutions, as well as those with relevant experience in the education sector.

Eligibility

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized university or institute, or
• A Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree from a recognized university or institute.

• Duration: One year
• Medium: English / Tamil
• Course Fee: Rs. 205,000/-
  • (Includes a refundable library fee of Rs. 5,000/-)
• Selection Method: Written Examination and Interview
  • 4(General aptitude in education will be assessed through the written examination)
