Prime Minister and Minister of Education Dr. Harini Amarasooriya announced in Parliament today that the investigation process concerning students whose GCE Advanced Level examination results had been temporarily suspended has now been completed.
Responding to a question raised during the parliamentary session Yesterday (21), the Prime Minister affirmed that, following this development, the period for eligible students to apply to universities will be extended.
“We have now concluded the inquiries related to the suspended results. And based on this, the university application window for qualified students will be extended to ensure that no student is left behind due to delays,” Dr. Amarasooriya said
