• Salary Scale: Rs. 28,940 – 10×300 – 11×350 – 10×560 – 10×660 – Rs. 48,870 (As per Public Administration Circular 03/2016).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Character: Must possess excellent moral character.
• Health: Must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of the island.
• Education: Must have passed the Sinhala or Tamil language as a subject in a recognized qualifying examination.

Terms of Engagement

• Nature of Appointment: The post is permanent and pensionable.
• Probation: Selected candidates will be subject to a three-year probation period.
