UGC Directive: Personal Communication of Competitive Examination Results Without Public Disclosure
විශ්වවිද්යාල සිසුන්ගේ පෞද්ගලිකත්වය, ගෞරවය සහ යහපැවැත්ම ආරක්ෂා කිරීම අරමුණු කරගනිමින්, තරග විභාගවල ප්රතිඵල ප්රසිද්ධියේ ප්රදර්ශනය කිරීම වෙනුවට අදාළ ශිෂ්යයා වෙත පුද්ගලිකව දැනුම් දීමට පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස විශ්වවිද්යාල ප්රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාව (UGC) සියලුම විශ්වවිද්යාල සහ උසස් අධ්යාපන ආයතන වෙත උපදෙස් දී ඇත.
பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்களின் தனிப்பட்ட அந்தரங்கம், கண்ணியம் மற்றும் நல்வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாக்கும் நோக்கில், போட்டிப் பரீட்சைகளின் பெறுபேறுகளை பகிரங்கமாக வெளியிடுவதைத் தவிர்த்து, மாணவர்களுக்கு தனிப்பட்ட ரீதியில் அறிவிப்பதற்கான பொருத்தமான வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றுமாறு பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழு (UGC) அனைத்து பல்கலைக்கழகங்களுக்கும் உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களுக்கும் பணிப்புரை விடுத்துள்ளது.
The University Grants Commission, having convened its 1174th Commission Meeting on July 8, 2026, recognized the vital importance of protecting student privacy, personal dignity, and emotional well-being. Accordingly, the Commission has advised higher education authorities as follows:
- Direct Result Communication: All universities, higher educational institutions, and affiliated institutes are advised to consider adopting an appropriate mechanism to communicate competitive examination results directly and privately to individual students.
- Limiting Public Exposure: Institutions are instructed to limit the open and public disclosure of examination results where appropriate.
- Statutory Compliance: All changes to result dissemination procedures must comply strictly with prevailing laws, internal university policies, regulations, and statutory provisions.
