Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- BSc (Hons) Degree in Agriculture
- BSc (Hons) Degree in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology
- BSc (Hons) Degree in Agricultural Science and Management
- BSc (Hons) Degree in Agricultural Technology and Management
- Bachelor of Agro-Technology Honours
- Bachelor of Biosystems Technology Honours in Agriculture
Preference will be given to candidates who have postgraduate qualifications in Biotechnology or Agriculture Biotechnology and teaching experience in the field of Agriculture.
- Assistant Librarian
Required Qualifications- Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
- A First Class or Second Class Upper Division in a Special Degree OR
- A Second Class Lower Division in a Special Degree or a First or Second Class Upper Division in a General Degree OR
- A pass in a Degree Examination and a Postgraduate Degree of at least two academic years’ duration in Library and Information Science with a research component by way of thesis/dissertation.
Special Notes for Assistant Librarian Post
- Applicants should have knowledge and experience in subject areas related to agriculture or agricultural technology.
- Applicants with postgraduate and professional qualifications in Library and Information Sciences will be given special consideration.
Previous work experience in a university environment will be considered an added qualification.
