The Ministry of Education has officially announced the commencement of the Induction Training Program – 2025 for newly appointed members of the Sri Lanka Teacher Educators Service (SLTES) Grade III. The program is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025, and will run in five separate batches until July 3, 2025.
This training is a mandatory requirement for all newly appointed SLTES Grade III officers, aimed at familiarizing them with the expectations, roles, and responsibilities associated with their new professional capacity. The induction will be conducted at selected National Colleges of Education (NCOEs) and teacher training institutions across the country.
Training Schedule:
The program is divided into five groups as follows:
- Stage I: June 3 – June 6, 2025
- Stage II: June 11 – June 14, 2025
- Stage III: June 16 – June 20, 2025
- Stage IV: June 23 – June 27, 2025
- Stage V: June 30 – July 3, 2025
All trainees are expected to report to their assigned training centers by 8:30 AM on the first day of their respective programs.
Documents to Be Submitted:
Participants must bring the following original documents on the first day:
- Appointment letter to SLTES Grade III.
- National Identity Card.
- A filled personal information form (provided with the official instructions).
- Additional documents as specified in the official notification.
