The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has officially announced the opening of applications for the OUSL BSc Honours in Psychology 2026 degree programme for the Next Academic Year. Students interested in pursuing a professional qualification in Psychology can now apply online through the university website.
According to the Department of Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Health Sciences, online applications will be accepted from 20 June 2026 until 26 July 2026.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, applicants must satisfy one of the following academic qualifications:
Option 1
- Three (03) Pass Grades in one sitting at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in any stream.
Option 2
- “C” Grades or equivalent in 60 credits at Levels 1 and 2 from among the Foundation Courses of the OUSL in Science or Social Sciences.
Option 3
- An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must also:
- Have obtained at least a Simple Pass (S) in English at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
- Successfully pass the selection interview conducted by the university.
