The Government of the Republic of Korea, through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is offering prestigious Master’s and Doctoral fellowship opportunities to public sector officials in Sri Lanka for the 2025 academic year.
The Department of External Resources (ERD) of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies has officially announced the call for nominations. As per the announcement dated May 19, 2025, KOICA is seeking qualified candidates for five Master’s degree programs and three Doctoral degree programs held at leading universities in Korea.
This initiative, part of the second phase of KOICA’s fellowship programs, aims to support human resources development in Sri Lanka and enhance the skills and expertise of government officials.
The available fields of study include:
- Economic Development Policy for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth (Master’s and Doctoral) at KDI School of Public Policy and Management
- e-Government and Public Management (Master’s and Doctoral) at Handong Global University
- Health Policy and Financing Capacity Building (Master’s and Doctoral) at Yonsei University
- e-Government and Public Management (Master’s) at Sungkyunkwan University
- Capacity Building to Manage Climate Change and Environment (Master’s) at Incheon National University
