The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has officially opened applications for its Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Honours) Degree Programme for the academic year 2025/2026. The programme features an updated curriculum aligned with international standards and will be offered through nine regional centres across the country.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following entry criteria:
- Three passes from any three A/L subjects at one sitting in any stream; or
- Four A/L passes under the old syllabus (with at least three passes at one sitting); or
- Thirty credits at SLQF Level 2 or higher from any OUSL programme; or
- Any equivalent qualification acceptable to the University Senate.
All eligible applicants are required to sit for a selection test scheduled for 8 February 2026.
Attorneys-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka may apply for direct entry into Level 04 and are exempted from both the selection test and Level 03.
