Ministry of Education to Release Graduate Teacher Recruitment Exam Results by End of the Month

Following the release of marks by the Department of Examinations, the Ministry of Education alongside Provincial Public Service Commissions will implement the subsequent recruitment phases:
- Cut-Off Marks & Merit Order: Subject-wise and medium-wise (Sinhala, Tamil, and English) merit lists will be published detailing candidates shortlisted for practical verification.
- Document Verification & Interviews: Candidates meeting the cut-off thresholds will be summoned for structured interviews to verify degree transcripts, residency proof, age eligibility, and institutional UGC recognition.
- Teacher Placements: Confirmed appointees will receive appointment letters to Class 3 Grade I (a) / (b) of the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service and will be assigned to schools based on prevailing subject cadre requirements.
- Access the official examination results portal via doenets.lk or results.exams.gov.lk.
- Navigate to the “Examination Results / Other Exams” section.
- Select “Open Competitive Examination for the Recruitment of Graduates to Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your valid National Identity Card (NIC) number or your Exam Index Number.
- Click Submit to view and download your individual result sheet for interview records.
