2026 5 ශ්රේණිය ශිෂ්යත්ව විභාගයේ නිල ප්රතිඵල සහ සංඛ්යාලේඛන වාර්තාව විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් නිකුත් කර ඇත. අපේක්ෂකයින් 289,867 දෙනෙකු පෙනී සිටි අතර, 19.32% ක් (සිසුන් 56,000) කඩඉම් ලකුණ ඉක්මවා සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇත. පළාත් අතරින් සබරගමුව පළාතත්, දිස්ත්රික්ක අතරින් හම්බන්තොට දිස්ත්රික්කයත් ඉහළම සමත් ප්රතිශත වාර්තා කරමින් පෙරමුණ ගෙන ඇත.
2026 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சையின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ பெறுபேறுகள் மற்றும் புள்ளிவிபர அறிக்கையினை பரீட்சைத் திணைக்களம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 289,867 மாணவர்கள் பரீட்சைக்குத் தோற்றியதுடன், 19.32% (56,000 மாணவர்கள்) வெட்டுப்புள்ளியைப் பெற்று சித்தியடைந்துள்ளனர். மாகாண ரீதியில் சப்ரகமுவ மாகாணமும், மாவட்ட ரீதியில் அம்பாந்தோட்டை மாவட்டமும் முதலிடத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளன.

- District Leaders: Hambantota recorded the highest cut-off qualification rate across all 25 districts at 27.53% (3,004 students), followed by Ratnapura (25.35%), Kurunegala (24.43%), Monaragala (23.54%), and Kegalle (23.22%). Kurunegala registered the highest absolute volume of successful students with 5,963 qualifying candidates.
- Major Urban Centers: Colombo achieved a 16.16% qualification rate (3,761 students), Gampaha achieved 19.31%, and Kandy recorded 15.46%.
- Underperforming Districts: Mannar (10.38%), Trincomalee (10.90%), and Mullaitivu (12.80%) registered the lowest district-level qualification rates.
- Special Needs Education: A total of 261 students with special educational needs qualified for bursaries, with the Western Province having the highest share (51 students), followed by Eastern (43) and Northern (41).
- Gender Performance: Female students maintained an edge over male peers, notably in Paper II where 26.36% of girls scored 80+ marks compared to 18.85% of boys.
- Socio-Economic Disparities: In Paper II, 30.16% of candidates from higher-income households scored 81+ marks, compared to 15.40% from lower-income backgrounds.
