The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2024 GCE A/L Examination Results will be released before the end of April, according to a report by Newsfirst.
Initially, the results were expected by April 20. However, the Department has cited several practical challenges that led to a delay. This year, a total of 333,185 candidates sat for the exam.

According to Dinamina, the results will be published after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Commissioner General of Examinations, Mr. Amit Jayasundara, confirmed on April 7 that the release will take place following the New Year celebrations.
