In terms of Public Administration Circular 10/2025, the salary scale assigned to the MN 03-2025 category is:
Rs. 52,250 – 10 x 800 – 11 x 1,190 – 10 x 1,320 – 10 x 1,350 – Rs. 100,040/-
Eligibility & Age Limit:
- Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as of the application closing date.
- Residency: Must have at least 1 year of continuous permanent residence in the Eastern Province, OR have married an individual who has continuously resided in the Eastern Province for at least 3 years and relocated to the province after marriage.
Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L: Passed 6 subjects in one sitting with 4 credit passes including Language (Tamil/Sinhala/English), Science, and Mathematics.
- G.C.E. A/L: Passed 3 subjects in one sitting in Bio, Maths, or Technology streams, including at least 2 subjects from Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Combined Mathematics, Biology, or Agriculture (excluding Common General Paper and General English).
Professional Qualification:
- A 2-year Agriculture Diploma Certificate from a recognized government school of agriculture (Kundasale, Vavuniya, Anuradhapura, etc.), Hardy Technical College, or an equivalent diploma recognized by TVEC.
Eligibility & Service Experience:
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is not applicable to internal officers.
- Service Experience: Permanent appointment as a Field Instructor (MN-1 non-technical) in the Land Administration Department of the Eastern Province with at least 5 years of active, satisfactory continuous service.
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L: Passed 6 subjects in not more than two sittings with credit passes in Language, Science, and Mathematics.
- Professional Qualification: A 2-year Agriculture Diploma Certificate from a recognized government school of agriculture, Hardy Technical College, or an equivalent qualification recognized by TVEC.
The examination will be conducted in Tamil and Sinhala mediums across four centers: Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Ampara, and Kalmunai.
