ශ්රී ලංකා රේගු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ රේගු පරීක්ෂක II ශ්රේණියට බඳවා ගැනීම සඳහා විවෘත තරග විභාගයට සහ එම තනතුරට උසස් කිරීම සඳහා වන සීමිත තරග විභාගයට අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත. උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේ ප්රධාන විෂයයන් තුනක් එක් වරකදී සමත් අයදුම්කරුවන්ට විවෘත තරග විභාගය සඳහා මාර්ගගතව (Online) පමණක් 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 14 පෙ.ව. 9.00 සිට ඔක්තෝබර් 12 ප.ව. 9.00 දක්වා අයදුම් කළ හැක.
இலங்கைச் சுங்கத் திணைக்களத்தின் சுங்கப் பரிசோதகர் தரம் II பதவிக்கு ஆட்சேர்ப்புச் செய்வதற்கான திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சைக்கும், அப்பதவிக்குப் பதவி உயர்த்துவதற்கான மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்ட போட்டிப் பரீட்சைக்கும் விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளன. க.பொ.த. உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையில் மூன்று பிரதான பாடங்களில் ஒரே தடவையில் சித்தியடைந்தவர்கள் திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சைக்கு 2026 செப்டம்பர் 14 மு.ப. 9.00 முதல் ஒக்டோபர் 12 பி.ப. 9.00 வரை நிகழ்நிலையில் (Online) விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.
In terms of Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025, the salary scale assigned to the RS-1 category is:
Rs. 49,550 – 7 × 540 – 27 × 670 – Rs. 71,420/-
This stream is for the direct recruitment of qualified Sri Lankan school leavers and graduates to Grade II of the post of Inspector of Customs.
Basic & Educational Qualifications:
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka with excellent moral character.
- Persons holding religious status in any religious denomination are not eligible to sit this examination.
- G.C.E. A/L: Passed three (03) principal subjects in one sitting.
- G.C.E. O/L: Passed in six (06) subjects in not more than two sittings, including Credit passes in Sinhala or Tamil and Mathematics, along with at least an Ordinary pass (S) in English.
Physical Requirements:
- Male Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest measurement of not less than 33 inches when expanded.
- Female Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches.
Open Written Examination Structure:

Note: Candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% in each question paper to be eligible for the structured interview. Exceptional sports achievements may be awarded up to 10 additional marks during the structured interview. Ten percent (10%) of the total vacancies filled under the Open stream are allocated to female candidates.
Conducted for eligible officers currently serving in Grade II of the post of Customs Guard to fill 50% of the existing vacancies in Grade II of the Inspector of Customs cadre.
Main Qualifications & Service Period:
- Must be an active, confirmed officer serving in Grade II of the Customs Guard post.
- Must have completed at least three (03) years of satisfactory and continuous service in Grade II of the Customs Guard post as of the closing date and earned all due salary increments.
- Demonstrated satisfactory or higher grading under the approved performance appraisal system.
- Must have passed all prescribed Efficiency Bar (EB) Examinations.
- Officers fulfilling transitional provisions specified in the Gazette by 31.12.2026 may also qualify.

Note: The Limited Examination will be conducted in Colombo. Date and venue will be notified to qualified applicants. Candidates obtaining at least 50 marks will be called for the interview round according to the Gazette regulations.
