Benefits & Institutional Privileges
- Provident & Pension Funds: 10% employee UPF contribution; 15% employer contribution (8% credited to Universities Pension Scheme and 7% to UPF).
- ETF Contribution: 3% employer contribution to the Employees’ Trust Fund.
- Sabbatical Leave: Senior Lecturer (Grade II) and above are eligible for 1 year of Sabbatical Leave with full pay or 2 years without pay on completion of 7 years of service. Overseas passage support for self and spouse up to Rs. 750,000/- is available.
- Study Leave: Full-pay study leave for approved higher educational qualifications.
- Gratuity: Gratuity benefits payable under the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act No. 12 of 1983.
