மத்திய மாகாண முகாமைத்துவ சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர் சேவையின் (CP-MSOS) தரம் III இற்குரிய 242 வெற்றிடங்களை நிரப்புவதற்கான திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சை – 2026 தொடர்பான அறிவித்தலை மாகாண அரச சேவை ஆணைக்குழு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. மத்திய மாகாணத்தில் நிரந்தரமாக வசிக்கும் 18–30 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட தகைமையுடைய விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் www.doenets.lk ஊடாக 2026 ஒக்டோபர் 16 ஆம் திகதி பி.ப. 9.00 மணி வரை இணையவழியில் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். இப்பரீட்சை 2026 டிசம்பரில் நடைபெறும்.
- Service Status: Permanent and pensionable. Appointees are subject to a 3-year probation period.
- Salary Code: MN 02-2025 (In terms of Public Administration Circular 10/2025).
- Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 48,470 – 10×540 – 11×630 – 10×1,010 – 10×1,190 – Rs. 82,800/- (effective from 01.01.2027).
- Mandatory Initial Workstation Rule: Appointed officers must serve at their initial workstation for a mandatory minimum period of five (05) years before becoming eligible for routine transfers. Transfer requests made immediately after appointment will not be entertained.
1. Age Requirement:
- Must be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as of October 16, 2026.
- Eligible birth dates fall strictly between October 16, 1996, and October 16, 2008 (both days inclusive).
2. Residential Qualifications:
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka with permanent residence within the Central Province.
- To compete under a specific district quota (Kandy, Matale, or Nuwara Eliya), candidates must have maintained continuous permanent residence in that district for at least three (03) years within the five (05) years immediately preceding the closing date of applications.
3. Educational Qualifications (Must be fulfilled by 16.10.2026):
- G.C.E. (O/L): Passed in six (06) subjects at one sitting with credit passes in four (04) subjects, including Mathematics and Language (Sinhala, Tamil, or English, matching the examination medium applied).
- G.C.E. (A/L): Passed all subjects (excluding the Common General Test) in one sitting under the current three-subject syllabus, OR passed in three (03) subjects at one sitting under the old syllabus.
The examination will be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil, and English media. Candidates may apply and sit in only one chosen language medium:

Pass Benchmark: Candidates must score at least 40% in each individual paper and obtain an overall aggregate of at least 50% to be eligible for appointment. A 3% quota of total vacancies is reserved for persons with disabilities in accordance with Public Administration Circular 27/88.
