The National Institute of Education (NIE) is set to call for applications next week for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) 2025. This program is designed for teachers currently in service who hold recognized degree qualification.
The PGDE is a 18-month, part-time program conducted in Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums. Classes will be held at multiple centers across the island, ensuring accessibility for educators from different regions.
This diploma serves as a key professional qualification for teachers, equipping them with advanced pedagogical knowledge and skills to enhance their effectiveness in the classroom.
Who Can Apply?
- Teachers, Principals and Officers in SLTES and SLTES.
- Holders of a recognized degree that meets the eligibility criteria.
