Relevant information and prescribed application forms could be obtained from the Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna (T.P. : 021 222 3608) either in person or post, on a payment of Rs. 3500/- per application form on submission of receipt in support of the payment to the University Account number.

Application forms and other details will also be available in the Faculty web site www.grad.jfn.ac.lk. Those who wish to send the downloaded application form should attach money order/ postal order for Rs. 3500/- drawn in favour of the Bursar, University of Jaffna or the receipt in support of the payment (3500/-) to the University Account number.

Duly completed applications should be sent to the Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely by registered post or by hand in the office hours. The research programme applied for should be indicated as “Application for MPhil / PhD– 2025” on the top left hand corner of the envelop.

Guidance for the payment

[1]  For Payment of Local CandidatesPlease pay at any branch of the People’s Bank Island wide using the usual deposit slip.
Fill your personal information in the slip and use reference no in place of account number.
Take and keep a photocopy of the slip with you before providing it to the university.
