The Research and Development Unit of the Jaffna National College of Education, in collaboration with the Research and Development Branch of the Ministry of Education, has released the official proceedings of the 2nd Educational Action Research Symposium (EARS – 2025).
This annual symposium serves as a vital platform for teacher educators, researchers, and practitioners to share their findings on innovative educational practices and classroom-based action research. The 2025 edition of the proceedings features a rich compilation of bilingual research reports in Tamil and English, highlighting diverse educational interventions and localized solutions across Sri Lanka’s school system.
The EARS – 2025 Proceedings are now available as a free downloadable PDF for educators, policy-makers, and students interested in current trends in action research. The publication reflects the growing culture of research-based teaching and learning practices encouraged by the Ministry of Education.
The Research and Development Unit of the Jaffna National College of Education continues to play a pivotal role in building a strong foundation for teacher education and evidence-based policy decisions through events like EARS.
