• Citizenship & Age Limit: Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka, of excellent moral character, physically sound, and satisfy the specific age requirements formulated by University Grants Commission (UGC) circular schemes of recruitment.
• Allowances & Medical Scheme: Appointees are entitled to all statutory cost of living allowances approved by the UGC, university medical insurance, and campus health facilities.
• Superannuation & Pension: Entitled to membership in the Universities Provident Fund (UPF) / University Pension Scheme, alongside employer statutory contributions to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).

An application fee of Rs. 1,000.00 must be paid for each applied position using one of the following methods:

1. Download the prescribed specimen application form and recruitment guidelines from the University of Jaffna portal (www.jfn.ac.lk).
2. Fill out the form completely and attach certified photocopies of G.C.E. O/L, A/L, degree certificates, detailed transcripts, professional qualifications, birth certificate, and service letters.
3. Attach the original bank slip / online transaction receipt of Rs. 1,000.00.
4. If applying for more than one post, submit separate applications with separate payments and documents in individual envelopes.
5. Clearly state the “Title of the Post” on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
6. Send via Registered Post or hand-deliver on or before October 15, 2026.
