Walk-in Interviews for Temporary Academic Positions-South Eastern University

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has announced vacancies for temporary academic positions in its Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Technology. The university is inviting qualified candidates to attend walk-in interviews on 05.08.2025 (Tuesday) at the Board Room of the Administrative Secretariat, University Park, Oluvil.

Available Positions:

Faculty of Engineering
- Department of Mechanical Engineering: Temporary Instructor in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Chemical/Materials Engineering).
- Department of Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering: Temporary Instructor in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (specialization in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering).
- Department of Computer Science and Engineering: Temporary Instructor in Computer Engineering (specialization in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields).
Faculty of Technology
- Department of Information & Communication Technology: Temporary Demonstrator in ICT (specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, etc.).
- Department of Biosystems Technology: Temporary Demonstrator in Biosystems Technology (specialization in Agriculture/Animal Science or related fields).

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a relevant four-year degree with First or Second Class (Upper/Lower Division) Honours, or a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

Salary:

The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 56,088/-, with an approximate gross salary of Rs. 73,000/- inclusive of allowances.

Interview Schedule:

Electrical/Electronic Engineering: 09.30 a.m. – 10.00 a.m.
Mechanical Engineering: 10.00 a.m. – 10.30 a.m.
Computer Engineering: 10.30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
ICT Demonstrator: 12.00 noon – 12.30 p.m.
Biosystems Technology Demonstrator: 12.30 p.m. – 01.00 p.m.
