Teachers’ Annual Transfer Appeal Decisions 2025 (2026) – Part II Overview
The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Sri Lanka has released Part II of the official decisions regarding appeals submitted against the 2025 (2026) annual transfer orders for teachers serving in National Schools. This supplementary schedule encompasses appeals considered during formal sessions on 03 November 2026 and 05 November 2026.
This follows the release of Part I decisions, detailing conclusive determinations on individual transfers, circular cycle adjustments, dismissals, and direct ministerial reporting requirements.
Key Determinations in Part II
- Appeals Dismissed: A large majority of appeals against transfer review committee orders were formally dismissed, upholding the original or review committee transfer postings.
- Appeals Allowed with Transfer Orders Executed: Select appeals were granted, directing the implementation of transfer cycles or transfer orders to alternate stations (e.g., transfers between Naulla National School and Kuda Kusum Balika MV, Badulla MMV and Saraswathi National School, and Kuruwita MMV to Hameed Al Husseinie College).
- Cancellations Due to Retirement / Special Grounds: Certain transfer orders were canceled upon confirmation from Zonal Education Offices that the respective officers had already retired, or adjustments were made to fill resultant vacancies via new recruitment.
- Provincial Jurisdiction: Appeals submitted by teachers serving in Provincial Schools were determined outside PSC jurisdiction.
- Investigation Directives: Specific directives were issued instructing the Secretary to the Ministry of Education to submit reports within one month concerning potential merit-order violations during initial appointments.

ශ්රී ලංකා ගුරු සේවයේ ජාතික පාසල්වල සේවයේ නියුතු ගුරු භවතුන්ගේ 2025 (2026) වාර්ෂික ස්ථාන මාරු පිළිබඳව ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලද අභියාචනා සම්බන්ධයෙන් 2026.11.03 සහ 2026.11.05 යන දිනවලදී සලකා බලන ලද තීරණ ඇතුළත් II කොටස රාජ්ය සේවා කොමිෂන් සභාව විසින් නිකුත් කර ඇත.
- බොහෝ අභියාචනා නිෂ්ප්රභ කරමින් සමාලෝචන කමිටු තීරණ හෝ මූලික ස්ථාන මාරු නියෝග ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමට තීරණය කර ඇත.
- සමහර අභියාචනාවන්ට ඉඩ ලබා දෙමින් අදාළ ස්ථාන මාරු නියෝග හා චක්ර ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමට උපදෙස් ලබා දී තිබේ.
- විශ්රාම ගොස් ඇති නිලධාරිනියන්ගේ ස්ථාන මාරු අවලංගු කිරීම සහ පුරප්පාඩු සඳහා නව බඳවා ගැනීම්වලින් නිලධාරීන් අනුයුක්ත කිරීමට නියම කර ඇත.
- පළාත් පාසල් ගුරුවරුන්ගේ අභියාචනාවලට මැදිහත් විය නොහැකි බව දන්වා ඇත.

தேசிய பாடசாலைகளில் பணிபுரியும் இலங்கை ஆசிரியர் சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர்களின் 2025 (2026) வருடாந்த இடமாற்ற உத்தரவுகளுக்கு எதிராகச் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட மேன்முறையீடுகள் தொடர்பாக 2026.11.03 மற்றும் 2026.11.05 ஆகிய திகதிகளில் பொதுச் சேவை ஆணைக்குழுவினால் எடுக்கப்பட்ட தீர்மானங்களின் பகுதி II உத்தியோகபூர்வமாக வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- பெரும்பாலான மேன்முறையீடுகள் நிராகரிக்கப்பட்டு இடமாற்ற உத்தரவுகள் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- சில ஆசிரியர்களின் மேன்முறையீடுகள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு திருத்தப்பட்ட இடமாற்றங்கள் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆசிரியர்களின் இடமாற்றங்கள் இரத்துச் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன் மாகாண பாடசாலை ஆசிரியர்களின் மேன்முறையீடுகளில் தலையிட முடியாது என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
⚠️ Execution of Transfer Orders
All transferred officers must report for duties at their assigned stations on the specified dates. Separate personal notifications are not dispatched. Dissatisfied officers may exercise appeal rights before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, but the PSC transfer orders remain in full force pending any tribunal verdict.
