Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies – Aptitude/Practical Exam 2026

Applications are now being accepted for the Aptitude and Practical Examinations required for admission to selected Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) degree programmes at the Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies, under the Eastern University, Sri Lanka for the 2025/2026 academic year.

🎓 Available Degree Programmes

Eligible candidates can apply for the following specializations:

• Music
• Dance
• Drama & Theatre
• Visual & Technological Arts

These programmes require candidates to successfully pass an aptitude/practical examination as part of the selection process.

📌 Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have sat for the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2025
• Meet the minimum university admission requirements
• Obtain at least:
  • One Credit (C) pass in the relevant subject
  • Two Simple (S) passes in other subjects

🗣️ Examination Medium

• The aptitude/practical examination will be conducted only in Tamil medium.

📝 How to Apply

• Applications must be submitted online on or before 13 May 2026
• Candidates must upload all required scanned documents along with the application
• After submission, applicants should:
  • Print and sign the application
  • Submit original documents on the day of the examination

💰 Application Fees

• Rs. 1000 – Music / Dance / Drama & Theatre
• Rs. 1500 – Visual & Technological Arts
• Payments must be made via People’s Bank to the specified institutional account

📄 Important Notes

• Certified copies of G.C.E. (A/L) certificates must be submitted
• Documents must be certified by a Principal, Justice of Peace, or Grama Niladhari
• In case of name discrepancies, an affidavit must be provided
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected
