ஸ்ரீ ஜயவர்தனபுர பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் பட்டப்பின் படிப்புகள் பீடம், ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் மொழியியல் துறையுடன் இணைந்து 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு சேர்க்கைக்கான இரண்டாம் மொழியாக ஆங்கிலம் கற்பித்தல் முதுகலைப் பட்டப்படிப்பிற்கு (MA in TESL) விண்ணப்பங்களை அழைத்துள்ளது. இது இரண்டு ஆண்டு படிப்பாகும், முதலாம் ஆண்டை நிறைவு செய்தபின் பட்டப்பின் டிப்ளோமாவுடன் வெளியேறலாம். வகுப்புகள் சனிக்கிழமைகளிலும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைகளிலும் நடத்தப்படும். விண்ணப்பங்களை 2026 செப்டம்பர் 30ஆம் திகதிக்கு முன் ஆன்லைனில் சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.

🎓 Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Candidates must satisfy one of the following qualifications to apply:
- A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in English or TESL (SLQF 6).
- A 3-year Bachelor’s Degree with English as a subject (SLQF 5).
- A Bachelor’s Degree completed in the English medium (SLQF 5 or 6).
- Any other equivalent degree acceptable to the University Senate (SLQF 5 or 6).
Note: Admission to this programme is limited and highly competitive.
📚 Programme Structure & Content
The programme spans two years, covering essential domains including the Structure of English, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Second Language Teaching Pedagogy, Testing and Assessment in ESL, Curriculum & Materials Development, and Second Language Research Methods.
Year 1: Taught coursework (students completing Year 1 may exit with a PGDip in TESL).
Year 2: Taught coursework & independent research project.
