The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has announced that the closing date for submitting online applications for the GCE A/L Re-correction Applications 2024 is Friday, May 16, 2025.
Both school candidates and private applicants who sat for the 2024 A/L examination now have the opportunity to apply for re-scrutiny of their results. This process may lead to changes in Z-scores or subject grades, depending on the outcome of the review conducted by the Re-scrutiny Board.

- G.C.E. (A/L) 2024 Index Number
- National Identity Card (NIC) Number
- Create a User Profile:
- If you don’t have one already, register using your index and NIC numbers.
- Review Instructions:
- Read all technical and common guidelines carefully.
- Watch the demo video available on the platform.
- Pay the Re-scrutiny Fee:
- Rs. 250 per subject
- Payment can be made via debit/credit card or Post Office.
- Download and Save:
- Download the PDF copy of your application after payment.
- You will receive a confirmation via SMS.
- Apply for All Required Subjects:
- Incomplete applications or missed subjects will not be reconsidered.
- Fees are non-refundable.
