GCE A/L Re-correction Applications Closing Date is May 16 2025

The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has announced that the closing date for submitting online applications for the GCE A/L Re-correction Applications 2024 is Friday, May 16, 2025.

Both school candidates and private applicants who sat for the 2024 A/L examination now have the opportunity to apply for re-scrutiny of their results. This process may lead to changes in Z-scores or subject grades, depending on the outcome of the review conducted by the Re-scrutiny Board.

Steps to Follow:

1. Gather Your Information:
   • G.C.E. (A/L) 2024 Index Number
   • National Identity Card (NIC) Number
2. Create a User Profile:
   • If you don’t have one already, register using your index and NIC numbers.
3. Review Instructions:
   • Read all technical and common guidelines carefully.
   • Watch the demo video available on the platform.
4. Pay the Re-scrutiny Fee:
   • Rs. 250 per subject
   • Payment can be made via debit/credit card or Post Office.
5. Download and Save:
   • Download the PDF copy of your application after payment.
   • You will receive a confirmation via SMS.
6. Apply for All Required Subjects:
   • Incomplete applications or missed subjects will not be reconsidered.
   • Fees are non-refundable.
