The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has announced the online Re-Correction Application of results for the G.C.E. (A/L) Exam 2024. Both school and private candidates can now apply for re-scrutiny to potentially revise their Z-scores or grades, following the completion of the re-scrutiny process by the Re-scrutiny Board.

Key Dates and Application Process

Applications for re-scrutiny are open exclusively online from May 2, 2025, to May 16, 2025. Candidates must submit their applications during this period via the following platforms:

  • The official website of the Department of Examinations: https://doenets.lk – Navigate to “Exam Information Centre” under “Our Services.”

  • The online exams portal: https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic.

Steps to Apply for Re-scrutiny

  2. Read Instructions: Review the technical and common instructions, and watch the demo video on the platform to ensure accurate submission.
  3. Pay the Fee: The re-scrutiny fee is Rs. 250 per subject, payable via credit/debit card or at a Post Office.
  4. Download Your Application: After payment, download the PDF version of your application and retain it. You’ll also receive an SMS confirmation.
  5. Complete All Subjects: Ensure all subjects for re-scrutiny are included in your application, as incomplete submissions will be rejected, and fees are non-refundable.
