The Department of Technical Education and Training (DTET) is calling for applications to register External Lecturers/Resource Persons for its Technical and Vocational Colleges for the 2026 Academic Year.
Key Details and Deadline
- Deadline: The final date to obtain subject details, the application form, and to submit the completed application is December 4, 2025.
- Application Process: To receive the application form and subject details, prospective applicants must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “External Resource Persons” to the Director/Principal of the specific college they intend to serve.
- Submission: Completed applications must be sent by Registered Post to the relevant Director/Principal before the deadline. Separate applications must be submitted for each subject.
Qualifications and Selection
- General Requirement: Candidates must meet the educational and professional qualifications specified by State Service Commission circulars.
- Experience: A common requirement across most National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) levels (3-6) is a relevant qualification (e.g., NCT, NVQ-5/6 equivalent, Degree, or Post-Graduate Diploma) with a minimum of five years of experience in the relevant subject area or industry.
- Selection: Candidates will be selected after an interview. Priority is given to applicants with prior teaching experience in the relevant subjects
