The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), popularly known as Lake House, has announced several vacancies in its Digital Media Department, inviting qualified and experienced media professionals to join one of Sri Lanka’s leading media institutions. ANCL is a government-owned media organization that publishes newspapers and digital content in Sinhala, English, and Tamil.
The organization is seeking applications for the following positions:
- Digital Journalist Grade III – Sinhala
- Digital Journalist Grade III – English
- Digital Journalist Grade III – Tamil
- Digital Journalist Grade III – Videographer cum Drone Operator
According to the vacancy notice, applicants for Digital Journalist positions should possess qualifications in Journalism, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or Video Editing, along with relevant industry experience in journalism, content creation, or video production.
Candidates applying for the Videographer cum Drone Operator role are expected to have qualifications in Videography, Video Editing, Drone Operations, UAV Management, or Aerial Photography, supported by practical experience in the field.
Lake House has also emphasized several core requirements for all positions, including:

- Strong news sense and programme development skills
