Key Educational & Professional Requirements
- Supervisor (Electrical): NCT or equivalent with 3 years of experience, OR G.C.E. (O/L) in 6 subjects (not more than 2 sittings) with 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in a recognized state or engineering institution.
- Swimming Pool Supervisor: Passes in G.C.E. (O/L) with 5 credits and at least 2 G.C.E. (A/L) subjects. Certification in teaching 4 basic strokes, First Aid, and Lifeguard credentials.
- Gymnasium Supervisor: O/L with 5 credits and at least 2 A/L subjects. Valid certification in maintenance of fitness equipment, workout scheduling, and First Aid proficiency.
- Marshal (Grade II): Recognized University Degree with physical standards (Male: 5′ 5″ height, 32″ chest; Female: 5′ 4″ height) with Police/Armed Forces experience preferred, OR prior service at the rank of Major (Armed Forces) or equivalent in Sri Lanka Police.
- Technical Officer (Health Centre): NDT or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), HND, or 2-year full-time diploma with 1 year MLT experience.
- Management Assistants (Store-Keeping / Book-Keeping / Shroff): Passes in 6 subjects at O/L in one sitting with credits in Language, English, and Mathematics, plus passes in all A/L subjects in one sitting. Field-specific requirements apply (Accounting for Shroff, Book-keeping credentials for Book-Keeping, and experience/commerce pass for Store-Keeping).
- Assistant Farm Manager: Special Degree in Agriculture with 1 year field experience, OR 2-year Diploma in Agriculture with 3 years of post-qualifying field experience.
- Technical Officer (Mechanical): 3 A/L passes in Physical Science, Engineering Technology (ET), or ICT, along with NVQ Level 5 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a TVEC-recognized institute.
Remuneration, Provident Fund & Pension Benefits
- Universities Provident Fund (UPF): 10% employee contribution; 7% university contribution.
- Pension & ETF: University contributes 8% to the University Pension Scheme and 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
- Allowances: Standard government-approved university allowances will be added to the basic monthly salary.
