1. Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Service (Grade III) Detailed Changes
- Age Limit Amendment: Public Service and Provincial Public Service employees can now apply up to an upper age limit of 40 years. Applicants must have a clear disciplinary record under PSC Circular No. 01/2020.

2. Sri Lanka Foreign Service (Grade III) Detailed Changes
- General Applicants Age Limit: Candidates must be between 22 and 35 years of age as of October 06, 2026 (Born on or before October 06, 2004, and on or after October 06, 1991).
- Public Sector Applicants Age Limit: Officers currently serving in the Public Service must be not more than 40 years of age as of October 06, 2026 (Born on or after October 06, 1986) with a satisfactory service record.
- Application Submission Window: The application portal opens at 9:00 AM on October 19, 2026, and closes at 9:00 PM on October 30, 2026.
- Qualification Date: The baseline qualification eligibility date remains October 06, 2026.
