University of Kelaniya Lecturer Vacancies 2026 – Apply Before 25 June

The University of Kelaniya has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for several academic vacancies in the Faculty of Science, Department of Zoology and Environmental Management. Applications will be accepted until 25 June 2026.

Available Positions

The following academic positions are open for recruitment:

• Lecturer (Probationary)
• Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
• Senior Lecturer Grade II
• Senior Lecturer Grade I

These appointments will be made under the Department of Zoology and Environmental Management of the Faculty of Science.

Salary Scales

Successful candidates will receive the following salary scales:

• Lecturer (Probationary) – Rs. 94,400 – 118,400 p.m.
• Lecturer (Unconfirmed) – Rs. 121,340 – 136,040 p.m.
• Senior Lecturer Grade II – Rs. 136,040 – 171,320 p.m.
• Senior Lecturer Grade I – Rs. 160,520 – 187,820 p.m.

In addition to the basic salary, academic allowances, cost of living allowances, and other approved allowances will be paid according to the relevant government circulars.
