The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) has officially opened applications for the prestigious position of Vice-Chancellor, as per Section 34 of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978. The University Council is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified leader to steer the institution towards academic excellence and institutional growth.
The Vice-Chancellor will serve as the Principal Executive, Academic, and Accounting Officer of the university, leading both the Council and Senate while upholding the values of transparency, accountability, and academic integrity. The tenure for this position is three years or until the age of 65, whichever comes first.
Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates must be Sri Lankan citizens and below 63 years of age at the time of application submission. They should possess outstanding academic credentials, leadership skills, and a strong vision for the university’s future.
