The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has announced an increase in the monthly allowance for students who have passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination from 2025 onwards.
According to a circular issued today (ED/09/12/04/02/05) by the Ministry, the monthly allowance for scholarship recipients will be increased from Rs. 750/- to Rs. 1,500/-. This decision is effective from the date of the issuance of the new circular (2025.06.23), replacing previous guidelines.
