The National Apprentice & Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), operating under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, has officially issued a hiring call for qualified Sri Lankan citizens to fill executive, technical, academic, and support positions across the island. These vacancies are available at the NAITA Head Office, its specialized national training institutes — such as the Automobile Engineering Training Institute (AETI) in Orugodawatte, the Industrial Engineering Training Institute (IETI) in Katubedda, and the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) in Katunayake — and several District Training Centers nationwide.

💰 Remuneration & Salary Structure
All appointments will be placed on standard government salary scales per DMS Circular No. 01/2025, plus applicable government-approved allowances:
- Director / Principal: Salary Scale Rs. 133,220 – 169,220 (AR-2), Basic Initial Step Rs. 116,763/=
- Assistant Directors / Lecturers: Salary Scale Rs. 91,690 – 168,240 (MM 1-1 / AR-1), Basic Initial Step Rs. 81,710/= / Rs. 81,675/=
- Officers / Administrators / VRU Service / QA: Salary Scale Rs. 72,650 – 122,970 (JM 1-1), Basic Initial Step Rs. 65,633/=
- Instructors & Transport Officers: Salary Scale Rs. 64,320 – 113,170 (MA-4), Basic Initial Step Rs. 58,598/=
- Assistant Instructors & Technical Illustrators: Salary Scale Rs. 50,540 – 90,270 (MA 2-2), Basic Initial Step Rs. 46,960/=
- Support / Contract Staff (Drivers, Office Aides): Fixed basic monthly salary steps starting from Rs. 38,488/= to Rs. 40,834/= plus Cost of Living Allowance.
