The National Institute of Education (NIE) has called for applications from qualified individuals for the post of Director (English Language) under the Senior Management Category (HM 1-1).
Salary Scale: Rs. 140,640 – 15 x 4,100 – 202,140/- per month
(Salaries will be paid in accordance with Schedule II of MSD Circular No. 01/2025 for recruitments up to 01.01.2027.)
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 35 and 55 years of age.
Required Qualifications (either one of the following):
Option 1:
- Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the UGC in the relevant subject area
- Postgraduate Degree in the field of English Language
- 15 years of experience in an academic or managerial position in Government, Public Corporations, Statutory Boards, or recognized higher education institutions.
Option 2:
- Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the UGC in the relevant subject area
- PhD in the field of English Language
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior academic research/related position in Government or recognized institutions.
