Diploma in Japanese Language 2026 – University of Sri Jayewardenepura

The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has officially opened applications for its Diploma in Japanese Language (SLQF Level 3 & JLPT N4) programme for the 2026 intake. The one-year diploma is designed to develop Japanese language proficiency together with cultural awareness, helping students improve their employability both locally and internationally.

The programme is scheduled to commence in July 2026 and will be conducted in a blended format. Students joining from Sri Lanka can participate through both physical and online sessions held twice a month, while overseas students can follow the programme fully online.

Entry Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Passed the GCE Advanced Level Examination in three subjects
• Passed the GCE Advanced Level Examination in two subjects with one year of work experience
• Completed any NVQ Level 4 course
